This growth was driven by successful product lines such as botanical bouquets, Formula 1 race cars, and collectible sets. Operating profit also rose 22% year-over-year to approximately $1.7 billion. Niels Christiansen noted that the company is successfully capturing new customers while retaining its existing fan base. This was achieved through the market expansion into sports, technology, and digital spaces, including partnerships with Pokemon, Epic Games, and FIFA. The company launched 332 new sets during the first six months of the year, a new record high. Despite macroeconomic uncertainty, the company continues to see strong sales across various price points, catering to as wide demographic of consumers from children to adults. Christiansen stated that the company's ability to master both segments of the market is a crucial factor in its current growth.
