Kevin Reddington requests presidential pardon for Lindsay Clancy following mistrial in triple-murder case

Defense attorney Kevin Reddington has requested that President Trump consider a pardon for Lindsay Clancy, who is facing state charges for the deaths of her three children. Although the president does not have the legal authority to pardon state crimes, Reddington stated that the president has significant influence and may reach out to Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz to help resolve the case. Lindsay Clancy was charged with three counts of first-degree murder for strangling her children—Cora, Dawson, and Callan—during an episode of postpartum psychosis. The trial ended in a mistrial on Sept. 4 after a jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict. Reddington plans to file a motion to dismiss the charges at a Sept. 29 hearing, while also remaining open to a plea deal or lesser charges. Meanwhile, Reddington has defended her former husband, Patrick Clancy, against widespread conspiracy theories alleging his involvement in the children's deaths. Patrick Clancy's attorney, Howard Cooper, noted that law enforcement has been notified to address the defamation campaign against him.
