Both individuals left the company over a decade ago, though Chip Wilson remains one of the company's largest shareholders, owning approximately 8.6% of the shares. Shannon Wilson owns a one percent stake in the company. Because there is no prenuptial agreement, the division of assets may be subject to British Columbia law, where the value of assets brought into the marriage are generally excluded from division, but the gains in value during the marriage are typically divided equally.
