Chip Wilson and Shannon Wilson have filed for divorce in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. The couple, who married in 2002, do not have a prenuptial agreement to govern the division of their assets. Chip Wilson is a billionaire with an estimated fortune of $6.1 billion. He owns approximately 8.6 percent of Lululemon, a stake worth nearly $1 billion, and holds an 18 percent stake in the Finnish company Amer Sports, valued at almost $3 billion. Shannon Wilson, who served as Lululemon's founding lead designer, owns a one percent stake in the company worth about $100 million. The couple were involved in business together during the early years of Lululemon, which Chip Wilson founded in 1998. Shannon Wilson later co-founded the luxury apparel brand Kit and Ace in 2014. The pair share three biological children and have established the Wilson 5 Foundation, which has donated $134 million to the B.C. Parks Foundation.
