A man in his 20s was arrested after stabbing five people at the Thunder Valley Casino on Wednesday night. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the Dos Coyotes Border Cafe inside the casino. Placer County Sheriff's Office officials stated that the suspect, who appeared to be an employee, knew all five victims. One victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the four remaining victims were treated on-site by casino emergency personnel and Cal Fire. Thunder Valley officials confirmed that the casino remained open for the evening despite the kitchen area being closed. There is no active threat to the public, and no other suspects remain outstanding.
