North Little Rock Police Arrest Kendrick Givens Jr. for Capital Murder in Gas Station Shooting

North Little Rock police arrested 18-year-old Kendrick Givens Jr. following a fatal shooting at a Circle K gas station on Pike Avenue. Officers responded to the scene on Sunday, September 6, at approximately 10 p.m. They found 19-year-old Braxton Ratliff shot and killed inside the store. Detectives identified Kendrick Givens Jr. as the suspect and located him at a residence on Sycamore Street at 11 p.m. on September 7. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with one count of capital murder. Kendrick Givens Jr. is currently being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center without bond. He is scheduled to appear in the North Little Rock District Court on September 9 at 9:00 a.m.
