Rosa Icela RodrĂguez, the head of the Secretariat of Governance, launched the national campaign "September, the Month of the Will" to help citizens secure their family heritage. The initiative aims to provide legal certainty and prevent future conflicts between generations by encouraging people to put their asset distribution plans in writing. RodrĂguez stated that creating a will is an act of responsibility and love that allows individuals to clearly establish the destination of their property. She emphasized that the process is not reserved for the wealthy, as any adult can create a will regardless of the size of their assets. The campaign features professional advice from the National College of Mexican Notaries, offering discounts and extended hours to make the process more accessible. Last year, the initiative resulted in the 145,461 wills granted. The federal government seeks to promote a culture of prevention by helping citizens protect what they have built during their lives.
