The body of 63-year-old Alisa Goods was discovered near a Las Vegas airport after she went missing while visiting a friend.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed the discovery of Alisa Goods, a 63-year-old grandmother from Brooklyn, whose body was found in a drainage ditch near a parking structure at Harry Reid International Airport. Goods was last seen on August 8 while visiting a friend, Roger John, in Las Vegas. She reportedly left his apartment to take a bus to a nearby CVS pharmacy. Security camera footage from August 8 showed Goods falling down an embankment and collapsing, making her difficult to see from the adjacent roadway. Her family, including her daughter Kristen Goods, traveled to Las Vegas to search for her. During her disappearance, the family received text messages from her phone requesting gas money and bitcoin, though police believe these may have been sent by scammers using spoofing technology. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that the case remains active, and the cause of death is currently preliminary. The family expressed gratitude for the public's support during the search.
