Kyle William Spitze Sentenced to Record 77-Year Prison Term for Online Child Exploitation and Animal Cruelty

Kyle William Spitze, a 27-year-old from Friendsville, Tennessee, was sentenced Wednesday to 77 years in federal prison. This marks the longest federal sentence ever imposed on a member of a nihilistic violent extremist network. Spitze was identified as a prolific member of the '764' and 'HarmNation' networks, which use social media to target and exploit vulnerable children through blackmail and coercion. Federal prosecutors noted that Spitze, who used the online monikers 'Crimhn' and 'Criminal,' claimed to have groomed over 2,600 victims. He was found guilty of producing child sexual exploitation material, abetting the distribution of 'animal crushing' videos, and possessing child sexual exploitation material with the intent to view. The FBI investigation revealed that some victims were coerced into self-mutilation, with some even writing Spitze's aliases in their own blood. Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that the sentence serves as a step toward justice for families harmed by the 764 network. The administration announced that the sentence serves as a warning to other online predatory networks.
