At least 10 people died and 64 were injured in a firework accident during a patronal festival in the parish of Santa Maria Canchesdñ, Temascalcingo municipality, in the state of Mexico. The accident occurred on Saturday night. Mexican authorities reported that explosive material exploded during the festival, which brought down a wall. The incident left 10 dead and 63 to 64 injured, including at least two minors. One witness stated that when he looked up, he discovered that he was trapped and saw a person with burns.
