Mystery Animal Attacks Three People in Lebanon, New Hampshire

The Lebanon Police Department reported a series of attacks by a small, aggressive mystery animal in the Centerra Park area of Lebanon, New Hampshire. The first incident occurred on August 30, where surveillance footage captured the animal lunging at a man's leg as he exited a U-Haul truck. Since the initial report, the department has received information regarding two additional attacks involving what appears to be the same wild animal. Witnesses have described the creature as either a gray fox or a fisher cat, though police have not personally observed the animal and cannot confirm its species. Authorities have notified the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and are coordinating with them on the investigation. The Lebanon Police Department warned that the animal's aggressive behavior could be attributed to a rabies infection.
