Stellantis Recalls Nearly One Million Vehicles Globally Due to Rearview Camera Software Issues

Stellantis announced on Monday that it is recalling nearly one million vehicles worldwide due to a radio software issue that may prevent rearview camera images from appearing on the media screen. The recall affects approximately 848,511 vehicles in the United States, including 2026 and 2027 model year Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles. Additionally, the automaker is recalling roughly 107,000 vehicles in Canada, Mexico, and other international markets. Drivers of the affected vehicles are advised to use their rearview and side mirrors when reversing if the camera display fails to appear. Stellantis stated that it is currently unaware of any accidents or injuries related to the software glitch. The company plans to remedy the issue through an over-the-air radio software update, which will be prompted on the vehicle's media screen when available.
