Benjamin Netanyahu declares the Iranian regime is nearing its end and threatens strikes on its infrastructure
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the Iranian regime is nearing its end and is weaker than ever. During a government meeting, Netanyahu said Israel is the strongest it has ever been while its enemies are weaker than ever. He expressed confidence that the overthrow of the Iranian regime is within reach, describing it as a central task for Israel. Netanyahu noted that together with the United States, Israel has removed existential threats such as atomic bombs and ballistic missiles. He warned that if Iran makes a mistake and attacks Israel, it will receive a blow it cannot even imagine. In a related development, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that US economic sanctions against Iran have been effective. Katz warned that Israel would strike Iran's energy and civilian infrastructure if the regime attacks Israel. Meanwhile, the administration is managing the ongoing conflict. US Vice President JD Vance noted that while there is no active shooting, the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz is nearly back to pre-war levels. The administration also continues to investigate an alleged strike on a wedding that Tehran claimed killed four people.
