During an event with Israeli military leaders, Netanyahu said the central mission remains to topple the regime, a goal he described as being within reach. He noted that Iran's restraint in attacking Israel directly is a result of the regime's awareness of Israel's strength and determination. Simultaneously, the administration is exerting economic pressure on Iran through a series of new sanctions intended to asphyxiate the Iranian economy. While the United States has resumed strikes on Iran, Tehran has responded by targeting US bases in the Gulf and Jordan, while notably refraining from attacking Israel. In a separate development, South Korea is preparing to deploy military assets to support freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz by the end of the year. The South Korean government is currently seeking parliamentary approval for these procedures, including options for a maritime patrol aircraft and a logistics support vessel.
