Novo Nordisk stopped two ziltivekimab heart-failure trials. Simultaneously, the company reported results from the STEP Young trial, which enrolled 165 children aged 6 to under 12. After 68 weeks, 40.4% of semaglutide patients dropped below the obesity threshold, while zero placebo recipients achieved the same result. Both groups received diet and exercise support, and more than 85% of the participants entered the trial with severe obesity.
