Jensen Huang Partners with Wall Street Giants to Establish $500 Billion Compute Financing Platform
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has announced a strategic partnership with six premier financial institutions—Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR—to mobilize over $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure. The initiative aims to establish the first global compute financing platforms, positioning Nvidia's graphics processing units as a new investable asset class. Huang stated that compute is now a revenue-generating asset that is productive, long-lived, and fungible. To support this transition, Nvidia is also providing up to $105 billion for a major OpenAI data center in Ohio. This move helps secure the AI buildout by providing investment-grade financing for frontier AI labs and enterprises that may lack the long-term credit profiles to secure infrastructure independently. By leveraging Nvidia's CUDA platform and its own balance sheet, the company aims to create a competitive moat against rivals like Google and AMD. The administration announced that these partnerships will help customers access scarce compute at scale, turning AI factories into a core pillar of global economic growth.
