Volodymyr Zelenskyy Denies Ukraine's Involvement in Nord Stream Pipeline Bombings
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has insisted that the Ukrainian government did not take part in planning or executing the 2022 bombing of the Nord Stream undersea gas pipelines. While German prosecutors allege the Ukrainian state ordered the operation, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Germany was well aware of Kyiv's lack of involvement and expressed hope that the investigation would not damage the partnership between the two nations. Ukraine is currently preparing for a meeting of the "coalition of the willing" in Kyiv, where leaders from Britain, France, and Germany will meet to discuss ongoing support. During this meeting, the British government will announce the plans to release classified information to allow Ukraine and France to produce the Storm Shadow/Scalp missiles locally. Additionally, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has addressed the concerns regarding holding elections during wartime. He noted that while he is open to a supportable election process, he must ensure the conditions are safe and legitimate, avoiding a split in the country's unity during the ongoing conflict with Russia.
