President Abelardo de la Espriella announced the 'Plan Milagro' of reconstruction, which aims to address the losses estimated at 30 billion pesos. The administration announced that the plan will be led by Housing Minister Jaime Andrés Beltrán and involves a key alliance between the national government, the construction sector, and financial entities. While Petro seeks to contest the government's strategy, critics such as María Fernanda Cabal and Francisco Barbosa have questioned his move, noting that as a former president and not a current senator or head of opposition, he does not have a constitutional right to a replica unless acting as a spokesperson for the opposition.
