Prince George begins first day at Eton College as a boarder

Prince George began his first day at Eton College on Tuesday, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William, and his uncle, Prince Harry. The 13-year-old future king arrived at the prestigious boarding school near Windsor with his parents, Prince William and Catherine. George transitioned from Lambrook School, where he attended with his siblings, to the all-boys institution. Upon arrival, he was greeted by the school's principal, Simon Henderson, and provost Nicholas Coleridge. He was seen wearing a jacket and tie before changing into the school's uniform, which consists of a black tailcoat, waistcoat, and pinstriped trousers. Eton College is a well-known fee-paying school that has educated 20 of Britain's prime ministers and several notable celebrities. The school provides a boarding experience for students aged 13 to 18, with approximately 55 students living in each of the 25 boarding houses. Prince William previously noted that the school provided him with privacy from the media during his time as a student.
