The Morena party officially retracted the incorporation of Rodolfo Le贸n Arag贸n into its ranks after scrutiny over his past.

The Morena party national presidency issued an official statement clarifying that Rodolfo Le贸n Arag贸n is no longer considered a member of the party. This decision follows a previous announcement in Oaxaca that he would join the movement to strengthen the party's structure in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. However, the move was met with scrutiny from columnist Hector de Maule贸n, who highlighted Rodolfo Le贸n Arag贸n's past ties to the Juarez Cartel and his role in the Enrique Alvarez del Castillo administration. He was previously accused of maintaining ties with narco-traficant Amado Carrillo Fuentes and was even linked to the assassination of Cardinal Juan Jes煤as Posadas Ocampo. While Rodolfo Le贸n Arag贸n had previously served as a leader under the PRI banner, the administration of the party now seeks to clarify that any publication or information presenting him as a member does not represent the official stance of the party.
