Ukrainian Forces Repel 189 Combat Clashes as Russian Forces Intensify Strikes on Pokrovsk Axis

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 189 combat clashes nationwide over the past 24 hours, with the heaviest fighting concentrated on the Pokrovsk axis. In this sector, Russian forces launched 26 assaults, resulting in at least 33 Russian troops killed and 15 wounded. The General Staff reported that Russian forces conducted 70 airstrikes, dropping 224 guided aerial bombs and launching 6,564 kamikaze drones. Simultaneously, Russian forces conducted a combined ballistic and quasi-ballistic missile strike against Ukraine, heavily targeting civilian and industrial infrastructure in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia. These strikes damaged a children's hospital in Kyiv and a steel manufacturer in Zaporizhzhia, where seven employees were killed. Additionally, the Russian Supreme Court disqualified the Yabloko Party from the September 2026 State Duma elections, likely to consolidate the Kremlin's anti-war platform. Ukrainian forces also continued long-range strikes against Russian energy assets and logistics infrastructure, including a Wildberries warehouse in Voronezh Oblast and an oil refinery in Orenburg Oblast.
