Emmanuel Macron and Mohammed bin Salman agree to build a 6-billion-euro theme park complex near Paris.

French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have reached an agreement to develop a 6-billion-euro ($7 billion) theme park complex in the north of Paris. The project, led by the Qiddiya Investment Company, will feature three amusement parks, including a manga-inspired park based on the popular Japanese anime series Dragon Ball Z. The administration announced that the development is expected to create between 20,000 and 22,000 jobs, marking a significant milestone in Macron's 'Choose France' initiative to attract foreign investment. During a two-day state visit to the Elysee Palace, the two leaders also signed a series of agreements spanning energy, artificial intelligence, defense, and health. The project stems from a shared passion for Japanese comics between Macron and bin Salman. Additionally, the contracts include partnerships with French companies like CMA CGM and Alstom to develop infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The leaders also issued a joint statement addressing regional flashpoints, including the conflict between the United States and Iran and the ongoing war in Gaza, where Palestinians were allegedly killed by Israeli forces.
