The National Meteorological Service predicts four days of rain across different regions of Mexico from Monday, September 7 to Thursday, September 10. These conditions are caused by the interaction of the Mexican monsoon, low-pressure canals, and tropical wave number 37. On Monday, intense and punctual rains are expected in Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, and Chihuahua, accompanied by lightning and strong wind gusts. Throughout the week, heavy rainfall will concentrate in states such as Jalisco, Veracruz, and Puebla. The National Meteorological Service warns that these weather systems may cause flooding, landslides, and increased river levels. Authorities recommend that the population stay attentive to official advisories and prepare emergency kits containing first aid supplies, radios, and identification papers. The National Meteorological Service also noted that the cold front season will begin between September 2026 and May 2027, with 56 weather systems expected to arrive in the country.
