Six Flags Entertainment Corp. acquires ArieForce One roller coaster from Fun Spot America for relocation to a new park.
Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced the acquisition of the ArieForce One roller coaster from Fun Spot America. The coaster, which opened in 2023 at Fun Spot America Atlanta, will be relocated to one of Six Flags' 20 amusement parks. Mark Pauls, Chief Operating Officer of Six Flags, stated that the company intends to preserve the legacy of the ride and invest in its future. The coaster will retain its name as it moves to a new home, which has not yet been specified. The ride was built by Rocky Mountain Construction and became a favorite among coaster enthusiasts for its pacing and ride experience. John Arie Jr., CEO of Fun Spot America, noted that the coaster was a passion project for the Arie family. The coaster is expected to reopen in 2028 or 2029. Derek Perry, President-Elect of American Coaster Enthusiasts, noted that enthusiasts were hopeful the coaster would have a future beyond its original park.
