Mexico City authorities detained four people presumably linked to the La Unión Tepit o criminal organization during security operations in the Cuauhtémoc and Coyoacán municipalities. Pablo Vázquez Camacho, the head of the Secretariat of Civil Security, reported that the first two detentions occurred during searches in Cuauhtémoc, where agents located and secured 100 grams of possible methamphetamine, 200 grams and 200 doses of possible cocaine, and 200 grams and 112 doses of possible marijuana. These operations were conducted as part of a follow-up to an investigation folder for crimes against health. In a separate action in Coyoacán, authorities detained two women identified as Karla "N" and Harmuni "N". During these searches, police secured two bags containing approximately four kilograms of marijuana, a suitcase, and a firearm. The Secretariat of Civil Security stated that these actions aim to combat narcomafication and desarticulate groups that generate violence in the central area of Mexico City.
