Target Corporation Launches New Beauty Studio Concept in Over 600 Locations
Target Corporation will launch a new prestige beauty destination called Target Beauty Studio on Sept. 10, 2026. The initiative will roll out across more than 600 stores and online, featuring over 1,600 products from 90 different brands. This new concept follows the end of a shop-in-shop partnership with Ulta Beauty, shifting the focus toward an elevated guest experience that emphasizes discovery and education. Amanda Nusz, senior vice president of beauty at Target, stated that the studio is designed to help shoppers explore new trends while picking up everyday essentials. The selection includes over two-thirds of brands that are new to the retailer, including high-end names like Dyson and Boy Smells. The launch will include in-store events on Sept. 26, where the first 100 customers in most locations will receive a Target Circle bonus. While the retailer has faced recent backlash over a Halloween costume and previous diversity rollbacks, the Beauty Studio aims to democratize premium beauty by making high-priced items more accessible to the general public.
