Kent Katnik and Kenny Katnik share a brief father-daughter reunion over the radio at Washington Dulles International Airport.

On September 1, Kent Katnik and Kenny Katnik experienced a brief family reunion while preparing for separate flights at Washington Dulles International Airport. Kent Katnik was piloting United Airlines Flight 108, while his daughter, Kenny Katnik, was piloting CommutAir Flight 4977 for United Express. During a routine air traffic control exchange, Kenny Katnik recognized her father's voice and greeted him as "Pops." Kent Katnik responded by asking for her location, and she informed him she was holding short of Runway 1R. The interaction was joined by an air traffic controller who asked Kent Katnik if he was a proud father. Kent Katnik replied that she had moved out of the house but remained on the family cell phone plan. The controller joked that she could not leave the plan until she got married, to which Kenny Katnik responded that she was still single. United Airlines shared the recording of the interaction on Instagram.
