House Republicans and Democrats Debate Resolution to Condemn Socialism and the Democratic Socialists of America

House Republicans are pushing a resolution to force Democrats to go on the record regarding the party's growing socialist wing. Introduced by Rep. Jeff Crank, the resolution seeks to condemn socialism in all its forms and specifically names the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). The measure also reaffirms support for the Constitution and free, fair, and secure elections, while calling for the enforcement of the SAVE America Act, a voter-ID bill endorsed by Trump. Democrats have responded by offering an amendment to the Crank resolution. Reps.
