The National College of Mexican Notariness launches the 24th National Campaign 'September, Month of the Testament' to promote legal certainty.

The National College of Mexican Notariness launched the 24th edition of the national campaign "September, Month of the Testament." The campaign aims to promote the creation of public testaments to provide legal certainty for families and protect patrimony. During the month of September, the public can obtain a testament with a discount of 50% to 90% in 32 entities. The campaign was launched with a recognition given by the National College of Mexican Notariness to the work of Rosa Icela RodrĂguez. The campaign also includes special hours and Saturday service in most notaries across the country to facilitate the process. Any person over the age of 16 or 18 can create a testament, which can be modified at any time. The document allows individuals to establish how their assets and obligations will be distributed after death. In some states, witnesses are required if the person making the testament cannot read, write, or sign, or if they have a1 disability or do not speak Spanish.
