The 2026 Minnesota State Fair drew 1,923,325 visitors, marking its seventh-largest attendance on record.

The 2026 Minnesota State Fair concluded with a total attendance of 1,923,325 visitors, representing the seventh-largest crowd in the event's history. While the fair fell short of the 2 million-visitor milestone achieved in 2019, it maintained strong numbers during the opening weekend and the final days. Attendance figures were slightly lower during the second week of the fair, which organizers attributed to several school districts starting classes as early as September 1. The event benefited from nearly perfect weather throughout the two-plus week run, with only three days of 90-degree temperatures. Agricultural and creative competitions saw continued growth, with more than 38,000 entries submitted this year. The Crop Art Exhibit featured 593 pieces, and 4,141 baked goods were entered into the competition. Additionally, the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority and SouthWest Transit reported record ridership for the fair.
