Roivant Sciences and Pharvaris shares surged to all-time highs on Tuesday following the reporting of positive results for experimental therapies across different trial phases. Roivant Sciences reported that its drug, mosliciguat, reduced pulmonary vascular resistance by 56.3% compared to a placebo over 16 weeks in a Phase 2 study involving 135 patients.

Patients receiving the drug also walked 35.2 meters farther in a six-minute walking test and saw a reduction in NT-proBNP, a marker of cardiac stress, by 53.2% compared to placebo. Pharvaris reported that its experimental oral drug, Deucrictibant XR, met the main goal of a pivotal Phase 3 study as a preventive treatment for hereditary angioedema. The drug reduced HAE attacks by 83% compared to placebo, with an 87% reduction for patients with Type 1 or Type 2 HAE. Pharvaris plans to use these results to support regulatory applications beginning in the first half of 2027, including a U.S. Food and Drug Administration application for approval in the U.S.
