The agency plans to extend some traffic signal cycles from 70 to 90 seconds to balance traffic flow while minimizing pedestrian delays. To assist with the project, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) funded the installation of 13 additional traffic cameras in areas expected to see high congestion.
