The new infrastructure, located on Avenida Ciudad de Cali, includes 2.85 kilometers of new trunk line and serves the Tibanica-Primavera, Los Laureles, and Islandia stations. These stations are designed to improve connectivity and reduce travel times for approximately 3,000 daily users in the southwestern part of the city. The new trunk line allows passengers to be served by completely electric buses, which are added to the city's public transportation system. The extension of the Américas trunk benefits residents of Bosa and Kennedy, providing a direct route that reduces the need for reliance on feeder services.
