President Donald Trump receives approval for new ballroom at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey
The Bedminster Planning Board approved a phased site plan for an 11,330-square-foot ballroom addition at the Trump National Golf Club. The project includes a new dining room, a rooftop terrace, and a significant expansion of the clubhouse, which will increase from approximately 26,240 square feet to 54,480 square feet. To support the growth, the club will add a new parking lot near the tennis courts and upgrade the on-site sewage system. Club representatives stated the expansion is intended to service existing members rather than increase the membership cap. Construction is expected to begin by early 2027. This approval comes as work on a larger 90,000-square-foot ballroom at the White House has stalled. The administration announced that construction on the White House project must pause because Congress has not yet approved the project. President Trump has requested the U.S. Supreme Court to allow construction to continue while the administration appeals the lower court's order.
