Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that business owners often neglect anti-drone security, necessitating state intervention to ensure national safety. Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov clarified that the decree is not a full nationalization but a targeted tool to solve specific security problems. The decree aims to pressure companies to shoulder more responsibility for air defense as Russia faces a worsening fuel crisis and economic pressure from the ongoing war.
