Ukrainian forces have intensified their drone campaign against Russia's e-commerce industry, specifically targeting the logistics infrastructure of Ozon, the country's second-largest online retailer. Recent strikes in the Rostov Oblast region have caused minor fires and necessitated the evacuations of employees at several facilities. These attacks are market-wide, following a previous campaign that targeted Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer. Ukraine's Ministry of Defense stated that these systematic strikes on storage centers holding dual-use goods are disrupting enemy logistics and negatively impacting the Russian economy. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has justified the attacks by noting that the targeted hubs often provide Russian forces with drone components and navigation equipment. In response, President Vladimir Putin has pledged to hit back at Kyiv's most sensitive economic sectors.
