The city of Cali held a ceremony to honor the 154 victims of the earthquake that occurred on August 10. The event took place in the Ciudad Capri neighborhood, where a plaque was installed featuring the names of all the victims. During the ceremony, attendees shared white roses and balloons as a sign of respect. The mayor of Cali, Alejandro Eder, spoke during the event, stating that the memory of the victims will remain with the community as they move forward with reconstruction and hope. Security camera footage from the Capri neighborhood also captured the moment the Torres del Limonar building collapsed.
