Claudia Sheinbaum criticizes the political alliance between Vicente Fox and Alejandro Moreno as a return to past corruption

President Claudia Sheinbaum criticized the recent meeting between former president Vicente Fox and PRI national director Alejandro Moreno. Sheinbaum described the cooperation between the PRI and PAN parties as a return to a past of corruption and privileges, noting that while the two parties were historically different, they often helped each other. During a tour of the states, Sheinbaum defended the sovereignty of Mexico and proposed a constitutional reform requiring that any president must have only Mexican nationality. She stated that a president should not have dual nationality so they can render accounts exclusively to the people of Mexico. Sheinbaum also addressed the division between herself and her predecessor, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, clarifying that they remain part of the same project. She highlighted the progress of the Mexico-Guadalajara train and the restoration of the Róo Lerma-Santiago hydro sector. She further emphasized that her administration's social programs are public policies driven by love.
