Brian Peterson reports suspicious fire at Corte Madera Tesla dealership on Labor Day
Central Marin Fire Battalion Chief Brian Peterson reported that a fire broke out in the rear parking lot of a Tesla dealership in Corte Madera on Labor Day. The blaze began shortly after 4:20 a.m., affecting at least four vehicles. Firefighters arrived and found one vehicle with its front end involved in the fire, which spread to three surrounding cars. Crews were able to contain the flames before they reached the main battery packs of the vehicles. No injuries were reported during the incident. Investigators from the Marin County Fire Investigation Team are currently probing the cause of the fire. While a specific motive has not been established, the fire does not appear to be accidental. The dealership has previously been the site of protests regarding Elon Musk's involvement with the administration's Department of Government Efficiency.
