Princess Giacinta Ruspoli and her mother, Princess Maria Pia, have opened their ancestral 16th-century palace, the Ruspoli Bonaparte Residence, to travelers seeking a princely experience in Rome. The residence blends the luxury of a five-star hotel with the exclusivity of a Renaissance palazzo, offering four large suites decorated with antique furniture and tapestries. Princess Giacinta Ruspoli notes that the family aims to share the beauty of their historic home with the public rather than living in seclusion. The palace, which dates back to the Middle Ages and has connections to the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne, served as the childhood home of Emperor Napoleon III. Guests can stay in the suites for approximately $470 per night, which includes butler service and breakfast. The residence also provides access to the family's sprawling former hunting estate, Castello Ruspoli, located 30 miles north of Rome. This castle is currently being renovated into a boutique hotel, offering guests the opportunity to experience both the city's grandeur and the peaceful countryside in an aristocratic style.
