Turning Point USA Expands Operations and Endorses JD Vance as Charlie Kirk's Legacy Continues
Turning Point USA is expanding its political infrastructure to sustain the movement founded by Charlie Kirk, who was killed by a gunman at age 31. The organization now employs over 1,200 people and has more than 1 million donors, with chapters on 1,500 college campuses. To preserve Kirk's legacy, the administration announced that Turning Point will honor him at the midterm convention in Dallas. The organization has endorsed JD Vance for the 2028 presidential race, aiming to provide a turnkey infrastructure for his potential bid. Turning Point is also focusing on the 2026 midterm elections, particularly in Arizona, where it is backing gubernatorial nominee Andy Biggs. While Kirk's personal influence remains a significant void, the organization's machinery has grown larger. It is currently deploying staff and volunteers to battleground states to mobilize voters. Despite some Republican skepticism regarding its recent local losses in Arizona, the group remains a core power center for the MAGA coalition.
