An unknown suspect fired multiple shots during a drive-by shooting that killed an adult female on the 3900 block of W. Clement Road.

Boise Police and Boise Fire responded to a report of a shooting on the 3900 block of W. Clement Road early on August 30, 2026. Officers found an adult female gunshot victim on the front porch of a residence that was being used as a short-term vacation rental. Boise Fire crews and Ada County Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the woman, but she died from her injuries at the scene. Evidence indicates there was a party happening at the home when an unknown suspect drove by in a sedan-style vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the residence. When officers arrived, a large number of people were inside the home. Police secured the area, evacuated the residence, and contacted each witness on the scene. There were no other reported injuries. The suspect's identity and location remain unknown. Investigators are still conducting an ongoing investigation and are asking anyone who was at the home before or at the time of the shooting to contact Ada County Dispatch.
