Brent Jindra expresses frustration after his wife, Galina Bobreneva, was detained by ICE despite her legal entry into the U.S.

Tech salesman Brent Jindra, a three-time supporter of the administration, expressed surprise and frustration after his wife, Galina Bobreneva, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at Burbank Airport. Although Bobreneva entered the U.S. on a tourist visa and had a pending green card application, she was classified as an illegal immigrant by the agency. Jindra noted that Bobreneva did not 'jump a wall' or 'swim a river,' but rather entered the country through the 'front door' of the administration's immigration policies. Bobreneva spent 16 days in the Adelanto ICE Processing Facility, where she described conditions as feeling 'like a piece of meat, not like a human.' While the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) defended the facility's conditions, Jindra highlighted the growing frustration among supporters of the administration. He noted that while the administration's rhetoric often focuses on illegal criminals, the current enforcement actions have cast a wide net, capturing even those who entered legally but overstayed their visas. Bobreneva was released on a $35,000 bond and remains in court.
