Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated that the service provides a direct, licensed feed of the platform's most significant posts. While the administration announced the launch, critics have noted that Donald Trump is the largest shareholder of the parent company, which could lead to accusations of market manipulation. Democratic senators Adam Schiff and Elizabeth Warren have urged the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether the company is breaking the law.
