The right-wing lawmaker Flavio Bolsonaro has narrowed the gap with the leftist incumbent, who currently holds 46% of voter support compared to 45% for Flavio Bolsonaro in a simulated second-round runoff. This shift represents a significant change from the July 27 poll, where Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva led with 47% against Flavio Bolsonaro's 43%. In a first-round scenario, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva leads with 41% of the votes, followed by Flavio Bolsonaro at 37%. If no candidate secures more than 50% of the valid votes in the first round, the two frontrunners will advance to a runoff.
