Peter Jackson to step down as Flutter CEO as Dan Taylor takes over the leadership role.
Peter Jackson will step down as the group CEO of Flutter Entertainment at the end of the quarter, with Dan Taylor appointed as his successor effective October 1. The transition follows a period of adjusted earnings guidance and a strategic shift in the company's U.S. business. Peter Jackson noted that the company did not execute well last year, leading to a loss in market share for the flagship FanDuel brand. To address this, the company plans to invest $270 million in additional EBITDA for the U.S. business in the second half of 2026. This investment focuses on improving rewards, promotions, and customer protections. Dan Taylor, who currently leads Flutter's international division, will also join the board of directors. The board expressed confidence in Taylor's ability to lead the company into its next phase of growth, while Jackson will remain as an adviser through the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
