Steven Simpson and Corryn Simpson are arrested for a deadly shooting following a hit-and-run crash in Colorado.
Steven Simpson and Corryn Simpson were arrested on Wednesday in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred after a hit-and-run crash in Colorado. The incident began on Saturday night when a blue Ford F-150 struck a sedan and a white BMW SUV driven by the Simpsons. After the truck continued driving, the Simpsons followed the truck, ignoring police instructions to stop pursuing it. During the pursuit, Steven Simpson reportedly made a threatening statement followed by two gunshots. The driver of the Ford truck and his passenger, Andrew Bott, were hit by the SUV. One of the shots struck Andrew Bott in the head, who later died from his injuries. While Steven Simpson claimed he was unaware of a gun being involved, investigators found a holster and a live bullet of the same type as the spent casings at the scene in the Simpsons' home. Steven Simpson faces charges of first-degree murder, while Corryn Simpson is being held as an accessory to the crime.
