Honeywell Aerospace Inc reported 5% organic sales growth in the second quarter of 2026, but reduced its full-year outlook as supply-chain bottlenecks continued to limit production and shift sales toward lower-margin original-equipment and domestic defense programs. Chief Executive Officer Jim Currier stated that while demand remains strong across commercial aviation, aftermarket, and defense markets, the company failed to achieve the production ramp expected earlier in the year. Chief Financial Officer Josh Jepsen noted that adjusted EBIT was $1 billion, a 2% decrease from the prior-year period, which included a $50 million inventory-obsolescence charge. Despite these constraints, the company secured $15 billion in lifetime customer wins this year. Management is now investing heavily in supply resilience, including multi-sourcing and internal manufacturing capacity, to improve output. Jim Currier emphasized that the company's immediate priority is restoring predictable output and improving execution and performance.
