Israel and the United States maintain high readiness as Iran launches a series of missile and drone attacks across the Middle East.

The administration announced that the United States has struck Iran for eight consecutive nights, expanding its airstrike campaign to target civilian infrastructure and punish the Islamic Revolutionary Guard for a deadly strike in Jordan. These operations follow threats from President Trump to strike infrastructure to pressure Tehran into easing its control over the Strait of Hormuz. During the latest escalation, Iran launched missiles toward Jordan's southern city of Aqaba. While the US warned citizens to avoid the area, the Jordanian military confirmed it intercepted three ballistic missiles, with a fourth hitting an open area without causing damage. Israel also deployed interceptors to protect the nearby city of Eilat from falling fragments. The conflict has caused significant regional disruption. Iran targeted US military assets in Kuwait and Bahrain, while the US reimposed a blockade on Iranian ports. Although Israel has not been directly targeted in this latest wave, the military remains on high alert. Meanwhile, Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, remains out of public view, with many reports suggesting he may still be in Iran following the initial war.
