Sara Gilson killed by estranged husband Jeremiah Duffey after she accused him of being a pedophile on TikTok
Sara Gilson was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Jeremiah Duffey, at their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, on Thursday. The incident appears to be a murder-suicide, with both Gilson and Duffey found dead from gunshot wounds to the head. The deaths occurred less than two weeks after Gilson posted a viral TikTok video accusing Duffey of being a pedophile. This accusation followed a report that Duffey, a basketball coach, had inappropriately touched a 15-year-old player during a youth basketball event. The girl's mother reported that Duffey had also sent inappropriate texts and offered money to the girl to keep her quiet. Following the report, Gilson filed for an emergency protective order against Duffey, who was then ordered to stay 100 yards away from her. Despite the order, Duffey reportedly went into hiding and threatened to commit suicide. Police are still investigating the case, and a fundraiser has been launched to support Gilson's two children.
